[duulles-announce] Movie night anyone?

Who would be interested in a monthly movie night? I would be willing to host a viewing on a regular basis. I like watching movies but it is not the same watching them on my own. I have a collection of DVDs to select from (I can make a list), or you can bring your own. I have a new large TV to watch them on so you will appreciate the picture quality. My hifi is a little old but it is the latest in plain Dolby 2.0 (as of 1990 - i.e. stereo) - I can work on that.
 
If you are interested, let me know when might be a good time and if monthly is a reasonable number of times a year, and perhaps what kind of movies you like. Suggestions for snacks and drinks that I can provide would be welcome too. I'm located in Sterling near the river.
 
My favorite movies are ones that are thought provoking, classics from the 60s, and those by Kubrick, Ridley Scott and others. What are yours?
 
I'm now folding this carefully, inserting it into the bottle and putting in the cork. Here goes...
